Recently some out of the town friends asked whether there were any authentic Chinese restaurant in Colorado Springs. Although not as many as Denver, but there were few and Jade Dynasty right by the Garden of the Gods would certainly be on the top of the list. This is a family restaurant, both the chef and his wife had years of experience in the restaurant business back in China, specializing in Cantonese cuisine. Since its opening, Jade Dynasty had become the go-to place for many local Chinese. Here are their braised beef brisket pot, braised tofu, braised eggplant in garlic sauce and stir fried beef flat rice noodle.
Authentic southern Chinese food (Cantonese). The owner is very friendly, told us the history of the restaurant. Food was served fast. -We came right after the mid-moon festival, she shared her family’s moon cakes with us.
Celebrated my 40th birthday meal here. I heard about this Chinese restaurant being excellent so wanted to experience for myself. Got the honey walnut shrimp and it was AMAZING! The best fried shrimp I’ve ever had! My husband had the general Tso chicken and said it was great! The owner was very personable and this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend! 10/10

Ordered food for carry out. Mostly had things off the Chinese menu. Food is very good, balanced flavor profiles and cooking techniques were executed perfectly. I do not rate restaurants very often, the Colorado Springs area is a veritable food desert with a few exceptions. So when we found this place that serves authentic Chinese cuisine and it’s actually done right and tasty, we are so happy. Finally a place that has GOOD Chinese food! Will definitely be back.
